Performing Artist, Producer, Musical Director and Educator are a few spaces in which Geno’s musical influence lives.

A Dallas, Texas (Oak Cliff) native, he has influenced many areas of the ever-changing musical landscape. Geno has toured extensively in the U. S. and Europe as a performer, musical director, producer, conductor, and lecturer. He has served as musical director and producer for some of soul music’s most influential performers. His tenure as musical director/arranger/producer for Erykah Badu cemented him as a force on the contemporary music scene. Geno served as one of the first African-American Governors for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Texas) and is a voting member of the Grammy awards.

An electrifying performer, Geno brings his passion to audiences worldwide as they have a front-row seat to his brilliant southern-drenched soul.

When not performing, Geno is equally as comfortable pursuing scholarly efforts and exposing future generations to the power of music in the classroom.

Stay tuned for new music and updates on the musical journey.
